I made my first flat piece of an eyebag out of gelatin. I did this by melting gelatin down, pouring into the flat mold and scraping over the top to get rid of the excess. The first time I attempted this I did it too thin so that the only thing to come out the mold was the eyebag itself. The second time I didn't scrape so close to the mold so I got a thicker blending edge.
I was very with how this eyebag turned out. Again I didn't have witch hazel so I was blending with hot water which made it more difficult. Overall I think the shape of my eyebag is good as it fitted very well to the shape of Kizzy's eye and looked quite natural from far away. I also liked the material as an eyebag as it's quite soft so fist well underneath the eye and the colouring is also nice for where it is on the face. However I think my blending edge was this time too thick so it wouldn't blend completely into the skin. Next time I would need to scrape closer to the mold. Before I decide whether to use gelatin as the material for my assessment I need to test it in silicone but overall I am happy with this piece.
