As I needed to move the hairline back I needed to make a bald cap for my model. I took another head template so I could have a separate one for my red head then made the bald cap out of Charles Fox bald cap plastic. Unfortunately I did not get any pictures of the finished bald cap but I did 10 layers moving from the hairline downwards, the last two covering the entire face.
I made the decision that I would not be wrapping the hair for the assessment. This is due to the fact my model has extremely long thick hair and to do so would take quite a bit of time. Instead I will be tying her hair in a very smooth low ponytail and this will come through a small hole/cut as the back of the bald cap. Because my model is then wearing a wig and a headdress which from down the back of her head the ponytail won't be seen. Although this isn't the completely proper way to do a bald cap I think it will achieve exactly the same effect but save a lot of time for me which will overall be better for my assessment.
